What is 1Push?
1Push is a location sharing and communication app for smartphones. With 1Push, you can alert nearby users in case of an emergency within a specified radius controlled by you, whereby 1Push will send out push notifications to users within the specified radius with your location.
Subsequently, you will also be receiving push notifications from other users near you when they trigger an alert in order to help your community stay in touch 24/7 and protect your loved ones and neighbours.

Can 1Push be considered an armed response?
No, 1Push is not an armed response.
Is 1Push linked to the South African Government?
No, 1Push is not associated with the South African Government or the South African Police Service.
How many alerts can I sent daily?
The system has been designed to allow subscribers to send an alert every 30 minutes.
Will i be charged to notify my emergency contacts via SMS?
Every subscribed user on a paid plan will receive 10 FREE SMS credits per month, should you require additional credits, SMS credits can be purchased in app for R0.30 cent per credit.
SMS credits are not refundable.
What if i run out of SMS credits, will my emergency contacts still be notified?
Every emergency contact will consume 1 SMS credit when you send an alert. Once your 10 SMS credits have been exhausted, your alert settings will automatically change to 1Push subscribers only.
How many emergency contacts can i have?
You can have a maximum of 10 emergency contacts per account.
How would i know if my alert has been sent?
Once the alert has been sent, you will receive a copy of the push notification.
How would my community know where i am when sending an alert?
When sending an alert, they will receive a clickable push notification / SMS that is linked to your precise location
Do you have a family plan?
We are currently in the process of creating a family plan that will support up to 10 family members.
